-simple French frequently-used sentences (Comment t'appellee-tu? Quel âge as-tu? Quelle est ta couleur préférée?)
-French names for various fruits and vegetables
-French songs (C'est l'automne, Terry Fox (we heard this for our Terry Fox run but didn't go through all the words so children will probably only know the chorus), C'est l'halloween)
Math
-numbers up to 100 in French
-representing/describing/subitizing numbers up to 20
-place value (dizaines and unitées)
-patterns (recognizing, creating and extending)
Social Studies
-learning the French names for the people in our families and ways that families can be different
-our roles and responsibilities in our families and in our local community
Science
-what is matter and how can we describe it (adjectives such as doux/rugueux, mou/dur, mince/gros, plat/rond and lord/léger)
-properties or matter (is it magnetic? does it float? 3 states of matter)
